Al Ain day trip from Dubai: zoo, oasis, and Jebel Hafeet by bus
By Dubai Rental Tour

Planning a full-day Al Ain itinerary
Al Ain is roughly 150 kilometres from Dubai — about 1.5 to 2 hours by coach via the E66 highway. A typical day trip visits Al Ain Zoo (the largest in the UAE), Al Ain Oasis (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and drives up Jebel Hafeet for sunset views. Groups should depart Dubai by 7:30–8:00 AM to fit all three comfortably.
Vehicle and group size considerations
The E66 highway is fully paved and suitable for all bus sizes. School groups typically choose a 30-seat coaster or 37-seat charter. Family groups prefer a 14-seat mini bus for flexibility at stops. Corporate teams using the trip as a team outing may prefer a 50-seat luxury coach with onboard comfort for the longer drive.
Jebel Hafeet sunset drive
Jebel Hafeet is the second-highest peak in the UAE, with a winding road to the summit. Coaches handle the road well, but the drive takes 20–25 minutes from the base. Time your arrival for an hour before sunset for the best views and photo opportunities. The descent after dark is scenic but requires an experienced driver — all our Jebel Hafeet drivers are mountain-route trained.
